This fun packaging project kicked off partnering with photographer Ghazalle Badiozamani in conjunction with creative agency 1HQ Global for client Talenti.
Techniques: Photo-compositing, Retouching and Illustration.
Production of the packaging photographs for the new mini bar product line was underway before the manufacturing facility was fully completed. Hero bars were molded to be as close as possible to the production bars, but the real bars were not yet available. Working in collaboration with the very talented Ghazalle Badiozamani, my roll was to beautify the products, dial in the bar shapes and edge profiles to the precise size / shape specs, while maintaining real surface textures and ensuring accurate color across all four product lines.
Background ingredients (Fruit, flowers, leaves, slices chunks, cubes and drizzles were all polished to perfection for each of the four layouts.

A special shout out to Ghazalle and food stylist Jesse: it is really rare that I need no additional source material for a complex compositing shoot like this. Your innovative approach to shooting extra plates was so thoughtfully designed and executed, that I had so many excellent options available for my every need in post. It was a retoucher's best case scenario.
Truly a delight to work with this all-star team for a client that I was already a huge fan of!
